
Tiger Woods Shows Recovery Progress after February Car Crash in New IG Video
Nine months ago, Tiger Woods was involved in a car crash that left him with injuries to his legs. The star hasn't been able to play golf until a recent post where he shared a health update.

Tiger Woods, 45, has finally made his way back to the golf course. He's been off the driving range since an injury back in February left him unable to play as he focused on his recovery.
However, on Sunday, he took to his Instagram account to show off his healing progress. The star shared a two-second clip of himself practicing his swing on a golf course with a brace on his right leg.

Woods appeared to be in good spirits and form as he teed off a ball with one swing. In the caption of the short post, the professional golfer revealed how he was actually doing, writing:
"Making progress.”

On February 23, 2021, the athlete was injured after being involved in a single-car rollover crash in Southern California. The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department (LASD) responded to the incident at around 7:12 a.m.
The accident happened on the border of Rancho Palos Verdes and Rolling Hills Estates. On Twitter, the LASD said Woods' car was traveling northbound on Hawthorne Boulevard at Blackhorse Road before crashing.

A day after the incident, Anish Mahajan, MD, posted a statement on Woods' Twitter account. The chief medical officer at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center said the star's crash had left him with:
"Significant orthopedic injuries to his right lower extremity."

In October, an exciting update was given about Woods' health. A source informed People magazine that the golfer was making progress, sharing how Woods had been undergoing physical therapy to help heal from his injuries.

The source said the athlete was able to do more and more as each day passed. The insider also revealed that the professional golfer was feeling less pain and feeling much better.
Updates about Woods' recovery have been limited to his social media accounts, posts by other golf professionals, and occasional photo posts by fans. The day after his accident, the star revealed the procedure he'd undergone.

Woods explained that he'd gotten surgery for his lower right ankle and leg. Two days after that, he shared that he'd gone in for a follow-up procedure, and on March 16, 2021, he was back at his Florida home.
In early April 2021, fans got to physically see how the star was doing when he shared a photo of himself balancing on crutches outside of his Jupiter home. More updates continued trickling in after that.
