Actress Julia Roberts took some time to honor her twins as they celebrated their 17th birthday over the weekend. The Instagram post included a rare image of the pair when they were still babies.
Julia Roberts, 54, and her husband, Daniel Moder, 52, are parents to three teenage children. The couple, who tied the knot in 2002, have twins Hazel and Phinnaeus Moder and younger son Henry, 14.
Over the weekend, the twins celebrated their 17th birthday, and their mother made sure to honor them. The cinematographer’s wife uploaded a rare throwback image of the two on Instagram.

The slightly blurry photo showed Hazel and Phinnaeus when they were newborn babies. Roberts looked like a proud mother as she posed with the little children where one of them had their eyes open. She captioned the post:
“17 of the Sweetest years of life…”

The “Pretty Woman” star is generally a very private person, and her children aren’t that keen on the spotlight too. However, in July 2021, her daughter, Hazel, made her debut on the red carpet.
At the time, the actress’s daughter attended the premiere of “Flag Day” during the 74th Cannes Film Festival in France. She accompanied her father to the event and posed alongside him for photos.
Hazel chose a throwback look in a butterscotch-colored button-up lace shirtdress, complete with black Mary Jane shoes. Her father, who was also the film's cinematographer, kept it formal in a classic black tuxedo.

Just like other celebrities, Roberts delighted her fans when she shared another rare picture over the Thanksgiving weekend. It was a beautiful outdoor selfie of her seemingly out on a stroll.
In the image, the “Erin Brokovich” actress kept warm in an orange knit beanie and oversized black sunglasses as she smiled at the camera. In the caption, she explained how she was feeling, writing:
"Feeling grateful and thankful. Happy Thanksgiving to All."
Roberts usually reserves her Instagram account for things like activism and other essential matters. For instance, in June 2021, she was one of the stars that took part in Blackout Tuesday in response to George Floyd’s death.
In November last year, she also urged her fans to vote during the presidential elections. This year, another rare post of her family members was that of herself and Daniel when she marked their 19th wedding anniversary.
