After four years of silence, a fresh "Hunter x Hunter" season will be released in Japan on November 22, 2022. The gap in production was due to the author Yoshihiro Togashi facing health problems.

There is no surety on when the English version will be produced, but based on past releases, it could find its way into the United States in around just over six months.
