"O Brother, Where Art Thou" is a comedy adventure film revolving around Ulysses Everett McGill, Pete Hogwallop, and Delmar O'Donnell as they embark on a quest for hidden treasure. Interestingly, Ulysses knows there is no treasure to be found and only lies to his fellow convicts to convince them to escape with him.

Ulysses, the cunning leader of the pack, curates strategies to ensure their survival and victory while Pete's focus is returning to his family. Meanwhile, Delmar brings comedy to their trio as a naive and easily influenced man.

Throughout their journey, Ulysses, Pete, and Delmar encounter different characters, some peculiar, and have conversations with them. Besides humor, adventure, and musical elements, the film also explores family, friendship, and redemption.
