Donna Kelce is known for her fun game-day looks. For the Kansas City Chiefs matchup against the Houston Texans on January 18, she had her makeup done professionally. However, she made a special request to avoid one particular accessory, opting for a more practical choice.

Celebrity makeup artist Allison Kaye, who prepped Donna's glam for the game, shared an interesting detail about the session. Donna specifically requested not to wear long false eyelashes.

Allison noted that Donna was "good with lashes," but was worried about their length. According to the makeup artist, she said, "As long as they don't hit my glasses." Allison accommodated this by choosing a subtle, shorter pair to complement Donna's look.

Donna had previously shared how her glasses play an important role during games as she watches and cheers on her son, Travis Kelce. She also does not choose her glasses randomly.

At Chiefs games, she opts for red frames, a nod to the team's colors. When supporting her now-retired son, Jason Kelce, during his time with the Philadelphia Eagles, she used to sport green frames to match the team's colors.

Allison shared that the rest of Donna's makeup was kept understated and natural, aligning with her preference for maintaining her usual appearance. The final result was a soft, polished glam look that felt elevated without being overdone.

Furthermore, Donna had two specific preferences for her game-day makeup that helped create her stunning appearance. She expressed a liking for berry-colored blush. So, Allison used Beauty Pie's Supercheek Cream Blush in the French Raspberry shade, which complemented the rest of her makeup well.

Additionally, Donna opted for a distinct lip color that Allison shared had become a staple of her style. "I kind of would just almost call it her signature makeup look... And if I look back, she does that same kind of tone of lip. It's all just very similar throughout her makeup," Allison said.

The makeup artist also revealed that Donna's game-day jewelry choices are far from random. "She told me actually that her bracelets, they all mean something to her... and they're a huge part of her game day outfit," divulged Allison.

Among the accessories, she wore bracelets featuring the "The Tortured Poets Department" (TTPD) initials and added a collection of friendship bracelets. All these are meaningful symbols cherished by Swifties and a nod to the connection between Travis and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Each bracelet Donna wore carried its own special story.

Donna's preference for what she wears to NFL games can be traced back to when Jason still played for the Eagles. Before her oldest son retired, Donna had a custom jersey designed to represent both of her sons' teams whenever they played.

Crafted by a Cleveland tailor, the jersey featured a unique design. One of its shoulders represented the Eagles, the other the Chiefs. Additionally, the Chiefs were displayed on the front and the Eagles on the back.

Since Jason and Travis wore different numbers, this creative solution made it easier for Donna to support both equally. Interestingly, the idea came from Travis, who recognized that his mom would never wear just one team's jersey.

The first time the Eagles and Chiefs played when both her sons were in the NFL was in Kansas City. Donna didn't wear her jersey then as Travis, who was a rookie, was sidelined as he just underwent microfracture surgery.

Travis finally joined Jason Kelce in action four years later at Arrowhead Stadium, still in Kansas City. This was the first time Donna wore her custom jersey, marking the first game where both her sons were on the field together. The moment was truly special for Donna.

Donna's support for Travis and Jason is evident not only in her cheers but also in what she wears to games, from her eyeglasses to the famous custom jersey. Her thoughtful choices reflect her deep pride and love for her sons.
