Frodo Baggins had destiny thrust upon him when the One Ring chose the modest Hobbit. It would take him on a journey of friendship and love, but also one that would leave him scarred with many terrifying experiences.

Frodo led what would become the most critically acclaimed adventure films in cinema, which won 123 of the 127 awards it was nominated for. In the books and the screen adaptations, he is the modest protagonist whose life changes when a mystical ring deems him fit to protect Middle Earth.

Frodo embarks on an epic journey alongside eight of his companions to destroy the mystic object — which, initially unbeknownst to him, holds the fate of his world — and keep it from falling into the hands of the Dark Lord Sauron.

The team encounters many challenges alongside one another, but each disaster only strengthens their bond. Frodo also grows wiser and stronger from his experiences, and the quotes below reflect just that.
