Humans are curious and love to pick up every stone to understand the world around us, to the extent that we have left our planet. We have made great strides in space travel, but going to another galaxy appears to be an unobtainable dream. Read the 53 quotes below to find out more about galaxies.

Galaxies are groups of trillions of stars, gas, dust, and solar systems which stay in one area because of gravity. These come in a massive variety of sizes and shapes, but the bigger ones are said to contain supermassive black holes at their core.

Many galaxies are categorized by a system called the Hubble Sequence. This system includes the enticular galaxies, elliptical galaxies, irregular galaxies, and spiral galaxies. Our galaxy, the Milky Way, is a spiral galaxy. Read these 53 quotes to find out more.

Recently, NASA managed to get as close as we ever have to other galaxies with their James Webb Space Telescope. It delivered the sharpest infrared picture of part of the cosmos, including numerous galaxies.

They managed to capture clusters and galaxies that were alive billions of years ago, which we can see because of the way light travels. While there is much to be explored in space, we have just as much adventure awaiting us here on earth. Cure some more of your curiosity by reading these 45 dinosaur quotes.
