Jaime Lannister was introduced in "Game of Thrones" as the proud lion of the family, a golden boy. But he also had a reputation for killing the last Targaryen king, which earned him the nickname "Kingslayer." In the beginning, he was just as hateful as his twin sister, Cersei.
However, as the story progressed, Jaime went through a character growth that truly pleased fans. During his time away from King's Landing, he learned more about other people, developed some compassion, and even started a romance with Brienne of Tarth.
Sadly, he went back to his sister in the end, although most "GOT" fans would prefer to erase season eight from existence. Ultimately, Jaime became a fan-favorite character when most of his family was hated, which only enhanced the greatness of the JRR Martin story. Let's remember these Jaime Lannister quotes.
